If you want to be better, you need to have a system in place. In order to put the right system in place, you need to assess where you are starting and where you’d like to be. As you evolve, your system needs to be adjusted based on your current capabilities. The Move Better Assessment is just that – a system to assess your current joint health and movement capacity throughout your ongoing movement practice journey.

We use CARs (Controlled Articular Rotations) in our assessment because they demonstrate the ability of each joint to move through a certain amount of range of motion with control and coordination. The more a joint can move with control and coordination, the healthier it will be, the better it will perform and the less risk of injury there will be!

This 7 Day CARs Assessment has been designed to:

  • Teach you how to perform CARs
  • Help you understand your body better, to learn how YOUR body moves, your current strength, and your current limitations
  • Teach you how to self-assess your joints
  • Help us recommend Kinstretch classes based on your specific needs and goals
  • Teach you how to track your movement progress with CARs
  • Teach you how to use CARs as a daily movement screen and daily joint health routine

The (P)Rehab Programs are 4-week training blocks focusing on specific injury prevention and rehabilitation.
