The half-kneeling base position is a great set to block out movement compensations of the lower body. Blocking compensations will help funnel the movement more specifically into your target joint. This often leads to what looks like a smaller range of motion, but in reality, it’s actually closer to your TRUE range of motion.

This higher intensity and more specific training is going to make your earn you mobility gains today. In this more advanced class, we’re going to be focusing on knee and hip training from the half-kneeling base.
