Inversion ankle sprains are one of the most common type of acute ankle injuries. They occur with running, jumping or athletic movements when you land on the outside of your foot. These injuries can cause strain or damage to the tendons and/or ligaments on the outside of your ankle. Improper rehab can lead to chronic ankle instability and increased risk of re-injury. Training to improve tissue strength of the lateral ankle is a game-changer in rehab and injury mitigation – this class does just that.
